It's what we say to our friends before a first marathon or while waiting on the beach for our wave to go off. "Crush it!" We've all said it, be it a 5k, Western States, a sprint TRI, or a trip to Kona! Crush is the camaraderie, the passion, that smile and feeling in your chest when you open it up and feel like you can go forever; it’s the drive and the desire; it's the long training rides with people who suddenly know you better than your mother. It’s what we dream of, what gets us out of bed at 4am - day after day; it’s the last thing we hear after we cross the finish line. "You Crushed It!" It’s more than a word; it’s more than coaching; Crush means family. We dream, train, sweat, bleed, race, and celebrate together!
12 years experience in endurance racing and strength training, 3 years in Triathlon, Coach Brizzi has been coaching and mentoring athletes since 2000. His first race was in 2000, the Army 10 Miler in Bosnia. Since then he has completed more than forty races, 2/3 of them since 2008, twelve of which resulted in top 20 Age Group or overall finishes. He has completed 3 marathons, an ultramarathon (50K), three Ironman 70.3, and the 2011 Ironman Louisville. He is a USAT Level I certified coach, Newton Natural Running Coach, has received the USAT Metabolic Efficiency certification, and is enrolled in the USAT Race Director Certification course held at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado this January. He is also a recipient of the U.S. Army Physical Fitness Excellence Badge, CARA Participation, and CARA Endurance awards.
Growing up playing soccer, wrestling, baseball, and hockey, Coach Brizzi has diverse sporting background and through his experiences has developed a training philosophy rooted in both team and individual based disciplines. He is committed to continued education and believes strongly that a coach and his or her athletes should be constantly evolving with the sport. He is committed to providing individualized adaptive training programs that allow athletes to balance their personal life as part of the overall program.
We offer three basic coaching packages geared toward people of all experience and fitness levels.
